The ringing alarm, as well as the Arp Odysseys' blaster shots announce the imminent takeoff ; ready to board on the spaceship.
On board, 90's French Touch fed children, also enamored with another era : the New York Disco/Soul sound from the 70s, brought by "Salsoul Records". Born from significant influences for this track melting together different eras/temporalities.
The space odyssey starts, the guitar shows up, invoking that freaky Rick James who left too early (R.I.P). The voluptuous bass that fights and maintains control 'till the end. There, the celestial and cosmic rhodes, bridging the gap that the intensity of its gravitational field and therefore preventing any matter from escaping. The Electronic/Acoustic language is again the essential ingredient on this track, as it is for the concept of the whole album.
The break, which leaves a moment to catch its breath, is only there to offer a passage in hyperspace, at the lightening speed of the Arp Odyssey, mainland of the track.
All this journey to finish in a monomaniacal and obsessive way on the loop modulated by the new galaxy. The result is in the continuity of an approach combining classicism and modernity all offered by Gin Tonic Orchestra.
What a successful landing.
Following this fabulous journey, the DJ/Producer from Saint-Etienne Kaffe Crème, active member of the Floors Records collective having released numerous releases on Moonrise Hill Material, VERTV Records or In Any Case Records, offers us a readaptation of this story, much more tinted and influenced by Detroit and Chicago House.
A love story disconnected from reality told with brio by the famous Detroit native producer Javonntte, who has been producing music and DJing since the early 1990s, working with legendary producers Blake Baxter, Amp Fiddler and Dez Andres throughout the years.
